In order to provide a new swipeable experience for both the Home and Subscriptions feeds, YouTube has announced that it is moving the Subscriptions feed from the navigation bar to the top of the screen.

This new feature will be introduced through an updated layout currently being tested in the YouTube mobile app, while the Explore menu will appear when the screen is refreshed or scrolled upward. The goal of this update is to make it simpler and faster for users to find relevant content.

The change is currently being tested globally with a limited number of Android and iOS users. A decision on whether to roll it out to all users will be made after the testing phase.

The company has also stated that it may consider shifting other feeds, such as Movies & TV, in order to provide access to a wider range of content in one place.
