Government Reveals Food Menu and Meal Costs for Pakistani Hajj Pilgrims in Saudi Arabia

More than PKR 10.86 billion is being spent on providing meals for Pakistani pilgrims under the government Hajj scheme.

Sources claim that more than 144.8 million Saudi Riyals had been spent on food for Pakistani pilgrims doing the Hajj.

Meals worth 36 Saudi Riyals a day, or around PKR 2,700, are given to pilgrims. Pakistan pilgrims are served hot and fresh food in Saudi Arabia three times a day.

Paratha, eggs, tea, halwa, and toast are served for breakfast, biryani, qorma, daal, rice, and salad are served for lunch and mutton achari, aloo kofta, chicken egg fried rice, baingan bharta, vegetable, kashmiri roti, seviyan and milk tea are served for dinner.
