Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran, was martyred on February 28 during the initial attack on Iran by the United States and Israel.
A national day of mourning will also be held all over the country on July 8, according to the Iranian government spokesperson.
During the first week of July, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to visit Iran to attend funeral prayers of Ayatollah Khamenei. After his stay in Iran, the Prime Minister will also visit Turkey.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, is also expected to attend Ayatollah Khamenei’s final funeral ceremonies.
Additionally, National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq received a letter from Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf requesting him to take part in Ayatollah Khamenei’s final rites.
