After the White House shooting incident, US President Donald Trump said that it wouldn’t stop him from fighting and winning a war against Iran, despite his belief that the shooting was not related to the Iran war.

President Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and Vice President JD Vance were present at the White House press dinner when the incident took place. The attacker was arrested alive, although one cop was shot but managed to survive due to a bulletproof vest. Trump called the suspect “a very sick human” and expressed sadness for such acts.

During a news conference, Trump said that these individuals are “crazy” and must need to be dealt with. He pointed out that the attacker had targeted a security checkpoint and that the US Secret Service had reacted quickly and bravely potentially saving thousands of lives. The suspect was highly equipped.

Melania was severely terrified by the incident and realized right away that something was wrong, while Trump recalled the scene as frightening, mentioning loud noises and confusion. He added that the attacker tried the attack from a distance of roughly fifty yards.

The President stated that he had spoken with the wounded officer and mentioned that this was not the first time Republicans had been targeted. According to reports, the suspect is from California. Investigations will determine whether the culprit acted alone.

Trump emphasized the importance of bridging gaps and confirmed that there would be no cancellations and a bigger event would take place within 30 days.

Additionally, he expressed concern about all types of violence. He claimed that about 5.8% of American presidents have experienced gunshot incidents, drawing comparisons between the risks of the presidency and dangerous occupations like race car driving and bull riding.

Trump said that he cannot think of a more dangerous profession than being President. He made a joke about Marco Rubio, saying he might not have ran for president if he had known all of this before.

He continued by saying that despite these dangers, he wants to live a regular life and avoid dwelling on such situations. He added that the First Lady is conscious of the risks involved in the position.
