The majority of Punjab’s districts, including Lahore, have been experiencing bright sunshine and a heatwave since Monday morning, which has resulted in noticeable rise in temperature.

According to the Meteorological Department, a new weather system is likely to enter Pakistan tomorrow, resulting in light rain in several districts of Punjab during the evening hours.

Meteorological Department further stated that starting on July 1st, strong winds, dust storms, and rain are forecast across most of Punjab, which is expected to reduce the intensity of the heat.

In Lahore, the lowest temperature was recorded at 31°C after an increase of four degrees, while the highest temperature in the city is estimated to reach 42°C.

Experts have advised people to avoid excessive outside activities during extreme heat, drink plenty of water and other beverages, and take precautions like covering their heads when out in the sun.
