The Imam and Khateeb of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, Sheikh Ali Al Hudhaify has been chosen by the Saudi Arabia to deliver Hajj sermon for this year.
According to the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, the Hajj sermon will be given at Masjid Namirah on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, which corresponds to 9 Dhul Hijjah 1447 AH. Today, the month of Dhul Hijjah has begun in Saudi Arabia.
According to the Arab media other reports, Sheikh Ali Al Hudhaify is considered as one of the most renowned reciters of the Holy Quran not only in Saudi Arabia but across the world and he has previously also served as the Imam and Khateeb of Quba Mosque and Masjid al-Haram.
Wuquf-e-Arafah, the most significant ritual of Hajj, will be observed on May 26, 2026 while Eid al-Adha will fall on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
