Before the Women’s T20 World Cup, London’s iconic Waterloo Bridge was converted into a cricket pitch, and team captains and the tournament trophy were featured in a special photo session.

Captains of all 12 teams came at the bridge on a special double-decker bus, where they participated in various cricket activities and interactive programs with fans on the temporary pitch set up at the venue.

The event, described as a “Captains’ Carnival,” attracted a large crowd of cricket fans. Street cricket, amusing competitions, and cultural activities transformed the whole the environment into a vibrant festival.

The opening match of the Women’s T20 World Cup will take place in Birmingham on June 12 between host England and Sri Lanka. The final will take place at Lord’s Cricket Ground on July 5.

The tournament includes teams from England, India, Australia, Bangladesh, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, Scotland, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies.
